According to the police department of Aktobe region, a "new" online acquaintance introduced himself to the woman as a resident of the United States. After some conversation, the "foreign groom" said that he had sent branded watches and bags and 10,000 dollars as a gift to his Kazakh wife. But to receive the gift, he has to pay customs duty. That woman transferred about 700 thousand tenge to him.
