The General Prosecutor's Office mentioned a new type of fraud and sounded the alarm. Now fraudsters are opening fake accounts on behalf of the prosecutor's office and contacting them, reports the national portal "Adyrna" with reference to the Prosecutor General's Office.
The prosecutor's office noted that fraudsters use fake accounts to call and send messages on behalf of employees and even the prosecutor's office management.
"In this regard, the General Prosecutor's Office urges citizens not to trust unfamiliar accounts and not to click on dubious links," the department warned.
When receiving such calls or messages, citizens are asked to report these facts to law enforcement agencies.
