Seventeen-year-old Kazakh athlete Zhibek Kulymbetova has become an 11-time world champion in jiu-jitsu and grappling, reports the national portal “Adyrna.” Zhibek Kulymbetova claimed the top spot in the ju-jitsu newaza category at the world championship held in Heraklion, Greece, from October 28 to November 4. She shared the news on her Instagram page. The championship featured 2,031 athletes from 56 countries. Zhibek defeated competitors from Greece, Israel, France, the UAE, and Mongolia, once again proving her dominance in her weight class. She expressed gratitude to her supporters in Kazakhstan and shared her joy over the victory.
