Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree "On additional temporary measures of an economic nature to ensure the financial stability of the Russian Federation." This was reported by the Kremlin press service, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.

According to Tengrinews.kz, the decree prohibits the withdrawal of currency or "foreign currency cash" from Russia from March 2 at the rate of the central bank in the amount of more than 10 thousand US dollars.

In addition, the President decided to introduce a special procedure for issuing ruble loans to residents, as well as transactions in the sale of securities and real estate to foreigners associated with countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia.
This measure also applies to persons under the control of foreigners, "regardless of their place of registration or their place of priority of economic activity."

These transactions will require the approval of the government commission for foreign investment, and real estate and securities transactions may be conducted in trades organized with the consent of the interbank bank in agreement with the Ministry of Finance.

The commission may also allow transactions that are completely prohibited by the February 28 decree: foreign currency loans to non-residents and currency transfers to foreign accounts.

The document states that these steps are the result of "unfriendly and illegal actions of the United States and its allies and international organizations." They are aimed at protecting national interests.
