Doug Bandow, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute and a former special assistant to President Ronald Reagan, said Ukraine should not be admitted to NATO. He wrote about this in an article for the 19Fortyfive portal, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
According to him, Ukraine's membership in the North Atlantic Alliance will be a heavy burden for the American people.
He also noted that the conflict between Moscow and Ukraine "does not correspond to the interests of the organization."
