Lands illegally acquired by Bolat Nazarbayev were returned to the state. Yerlan Sayyrov, the chairman of the republican public council for the development of public administration and fight against corruption under the AMANAT party, reported the national portal "Adyrna".
The website of the party reported that 239 thousand hectares of land in Mangistau region and 60 thousand hectares of land in Zhambyl region, which now belong to subsidiary companies of Bolat Nazarbayev, have been returned to state ownership.
Before that, together with the General Prosecutor's Office, 59 land plots with an area of 244 hectares were determined. Their owner is Bolat Nazarbayev.
To confirm the information, Tengrinews.kz reporter contacted Yerlan Sayyrov himself.
"We received a complaint about illegal activities from a group of people in Almaty region. We sent an inquiry to the General Prosecutor's Office about 244 hectares of land in Almaty, Talgar, Astana, Kaskeleng and Turkestan regions. Now the representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office found that most of these lands were given illegally. The General Prosecutor's Office is working to return these lands to the state," he explained.
In addition, Yerlan Sayyrov said that it has been 6 months since he received the alarm about the return of those lands to the state property.
