It is known on social networks that the meeting in the said company was held only in official language.
A user named Yerzjan J-n alerted the Kolesa Conf organizers about this. Azamat also published the dialogue between the two on the Internet.
According to him, the entire website of the conference is in Russian, and those responsible for the event prepared the announcement itself only in the russian language.
He asked for information in Kazakh. The organizers replied: "Kolesa Conf will be held in Russian, 90 percent of the IT audience in the country is Russian-speaking." Later, the user who asked "inconvenient questions" was blocked. Kolesa Group explained it as "a cyber attack on the company".
"Does it make sense to separate Kazakh-speaking specialists in the IT field?" They are being removed from the platform that allows them to express their opinions in their own language.
