Asem Orynbai won a gold medal in the final of the World Cup in target shooting held in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This was reported by the press service of the Sports Development Directorate of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
The athlete of the national team took part in the final competition in the skit program of stand shooting and scored 51 points. Chiara Di Marciantonio (Italy) won the silver medal with 50 targets, while the bronze medal went to Denmark's Joe Vizzi (USA). In this competition, 3-time Olympic champion Kimberly Road (USA) stopped short of the prize (34 points).
The Kazakh sniper is currently on the 7th place in the ISSF rating.
