Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev expressed his condolences to the relatives and friends of Kazakhstani and foreign citizens who died in one of the hostels in Almaty. Akorda announced this, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Those responsible for the tragedy will be prosecuted according to the law. The government and the mayor's office were instructed to provide assistance to the families of the victims, - it was written in the message.
As we reported earlier, this morning a fire broke out in one of the hostels located in Almaty, killing 13 people. As it turns out, the hostel has been in operation for 1.5 months. Foreign citizens also lived there. At the same time, the Government Commission for the investigation of the causes of the fire was established. Information about the condition of the victims of the fire was known.
