Speaking at the meeting, First Deputy Chairman of the "Nur Otan" party Baurzhan Baibek spoke about the importance of the country's independence and its impact on the development of national culture.
The jury of the tournament will be chaired by an outstanding artist, People's Artist of Kazakhstan and the USSR, winner of the State Prize - Asanali Ashimov. The jury also includes aitys poet, People's Poet of Kazakhstan Asiya Berkenova, three-time winner of the "Golden Dombra" Mukhtar Niyazov, aitys poet, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Amanzhol Altayev and other artists and public figures.
