Alzhan Imashev, Deputy General Director for Economy and Finance of KTZ, has resigned, the national portal "Adyrna" reports citing KTZ.
The press service of KTZ has not yet commented on the dismissal of a relative of Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Alzhan Imashev's sister Aida is the wife of Nurali Aliyev, the granddaughter of former President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Their father, Berik Imashev, heads the Central Election Commission.
