Ways to deliver 82 tons of humanitarian aid from Kazakhstan to Ukraine are being considered. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Prime Minister's Office Ruslan Zheldibay.

Humanitarian activity is an important direction of Kazakhstan's foreign policy strategy. Our country always seeks to provide as much assistance as possible to the people of countries facing a difficult humanitarian situation for various reasons.

Kazakhstan traditionally provides humanitarian assistance in the event of an official request from another state. Following the request from Ukraine, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev gave specific instructions to provide humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people.

"The International Commission for Humanitarian Aid under the Government has decided to send to Ukraine 25 types of medical supplies worth a total of 2,251,445 US dollars. The humanitarian aid weighs 82 tons. The issue of direct delivery is very difficult from the security point of view. In this regard, the Government of Kazakhstan is negotiating with neighboring countries, which are the hubs for receiving and distributing international humanitarian aid to Ukraine, "R. Zheldibay said.
