Former employees of Antikor were suspected in the case of Larisa Pak

Antikor launched an investigation into Larisa Pak, ex-acting head of the pharmacy committee, on the fact of using unauthorized investigative methods. This was announced by Antikor, the "Adirna" national portal reported.
"The anti-corruption service has started a pre-trial investigation into the fact that former employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, who participated in the investigation of the criminal case against Larisa Pak, the former acting chairman of the Pharmacy Committee of the Ministry of Health, used unauthorized investigative methods," Antikor reported.
The acute investigation team investigated the criminal case in 2017-2018. Later, the case was closed due to lack of criminal elements.
Larisa Pak, the suspect in this criminal case, died on July 6, 2019.
On December 7, 2020, the Anti-Corruption Agency announced that Larisa Pak was fully acquitted due to the lack of criminal elements.
"Using this opportunity, the Anti-Corruption Agency, as the legal successor of the now dissolved National Anti-Corruption Bureau, expresses its deepest condolences to the relatives of Larisa Yoon-Boyevna Park and formally apologizes for the harm caused," Antikor said.
The investigation is ongoing. Other information will not be released due to the interest of the investigation.
