Twitter has sued Elon Musk to complete the deal to buy the company for $44 billion, "Adyrna" reporter reports, referring to Reuters.
The complaint was filed in the US Court of Chancery for the State of Delaware.
"Twitter is bringing this lawsuit to prevent Musk from further violating the law, to compel Musk to comply with his legal obligations, and to complete the merger if there are several outstanding conditions," it was noted .
Recall that at the beginning of July, Musk broke the 44 billions agreement to buy Twitter.
As previously reported, according to the terms of the agreement, Musk had to pay one billion dollars if he refused the purchase.
Previously, the Tesla and SpaceX founder threatened to withdraw from the agreement unless the company proved that the number of fake accounts, including bots and those used for spamming, did not exceed 5 percent of their total number.
