According to the verdict of the specialized interdistrict criminal court of Shymkent, the deputy head of the ecology department in Kyzylorda region B. Tilegenov was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in a medium-security penitentiary, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
He was found guilty of fraudulently embezzling 100 million tenge belonging to the heads of LLP.
Also, Tilegenov encouraged the heads of the LLP to pay bribes to stop the case of violations of the environmental legislation against the LLP and to withdraw the notification of the state revenue authorities, saying that he would solve the problem through the officials of the prosecutor's office, state revenue and economic investigation departments.
The sentence has not entered into legal force.
