About 50,000 Ukrainians lost their limbs in the war with Russia. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to the report of Ottobock, the world's largest prosthetics manufacturer, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
According to the WSJ, the figure may be much higher. This is because there are people who wait weeks or months for prosthetics after an injury.
It should be noted that 526 days have passed since the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine. However, the authorities of both countries still keep secret the official data on the losses of their soldiers.
