President Tokayev made an official visit to Turkmenistan, reports the national portal “Adyrna”
According to Akorda, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the leader of the Turkmen people, welcomed Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Ashgabat airport.
During the visit, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold talks with Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The President will also inaugurate a monument to Abai Kunanbaiuly in Ashgabat and participate in the international forum titled “The Connection of Eras and Civilizations – The Foundation of Peace and Development.”
It is worth noting that yesterday the President of Kazakhstan attended the meeting of the Council of Heads of States of the Commonwealth of Independent States, where he urged others towards consensus.
