Kazakhstan, one of the largest uranium producers, is not satisfied with the lack of a voice in the IAEA board of directors and is preparing to file a lawsuit, "Adyrna" correspondent reports with reference to Bloomberg.
On Friday, Bloomberg published an article stating that Kazakhstan, which produces two-fifths of the world's uranium, is not satisfied with being excluded from the decision-making process of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Kazakhstan is preparing to send a "legal request" to the IAEA for a seat on the Board of Governors. The requirements of Kazakhstan will be presented at the next general conference of the agency on September 25, 2023.
