Elon Musk announced in Ukraine that he has opened access to the global satellite communication system Starlink, the national portal "Adyrna" reports.
"Starlink services are now available in Ukraine. New terminals are coming," he wrote on Twitter.
Starlink is a project of a global satellite communication system. It was created in 2002 by the American company SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk. The Starlink system is designed to provide Internet access to users around the world by placing many small devices (weighing up to 500 kg) in orbit around the Earth.
Starlink has previously been available in 28 countries around the world, including North America, a number of European countries, Latin America, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
