The import of wheat from third countries and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by road and rail has been banned, the national portal "Adirna" reports.

The period of prohibition regarding the supply of wheat from outside is provided for six months.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Regulation of Trade Activities", the delivery of wheat into the country by means of vehicles known from outside is limited. In the document:
For a period of six months: to introduce a ban on the import of wheat from third countries and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan by road transport and railway transport, - it is clearly stated.
However, the restriction does not apply to the delivery of wheat by rail to the address of licensed elevators, grain processors, poultry enterprises.
