Boxer Kamshibek Konkabayev reached the finals at the 19th Asian Summer Games, which are being held in Hangzhou, China, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to the Qaz365.kz site.
He defeated India's Narindeer 5-0 in the weight class of 92 kg. Thus, he received a ticket to the Paris Olympics.
Konkabayev is the only boxer who qualified for the men's boxing team and made it to the finals.
Before that, Aslanbek Shymbergenov (71 kg) and Sagynyk Togambai won bronze medals.
