The removal of the protection of the first president Nursultan Nazarbayev from the regulation on the Latvian Security Committee (NSC) will be discussed until November 24. The discussion, which was opened on November 10, has not yet received an opinion from the majority. The draft of the Decree of the President of Kazakhstan has been published on the "Open NKA" portal, reported the "Adyrna" national portal.
In accordance with this document, it is planned to remove the statute on the protection of the First President of the Republic, Nursultan Nazarbayev, from the regulation on the NSC.
Thus, in the new edition of paragraph 13 of paragraph 2 of paragraph 14, it is stated that the NSC should "participate in ensuring the security of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" without clarifying the status of the President.
In the previous edition, it was stated that the National Security Committee is obliged to "participate in ensuring the security of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the First President-Leader of the Republic of Kazakhstan."
It should be noted that the draft decree is under public discussion until November 24.
