1 million tenge will be given to the families of Kazakhstani people who died in the hostel fire. This was announced by the mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
In addition, the cost of transportation of corpses will be helped by the state. Assistance will be provided to the families of deceased foreigners to transport the bodies to the burial place.
Let's remind that today a hostel was burnt down in Almaty and 13 people were killed. Two of them are citizens of Russia and Uzbekistan.
According to Minister Syrym Sharipkhanov, the students lived in this hostel without telling the higher education institutions and the city administration that they needed housing. Now a special commission has been formed to determine the causes of the fire and the persons responsible for it.
