Kazakh language is taught at Oxford University

Kazakh language teaching will be started at Oxford University. This was stated by the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.

"We have established a mutual cooperation relationship between Oxford University in Great Britain and signed a mutual agreement. As a result, I would like to announce that the teaching of the Kazakh language will be started at Oxford University," he said.

The minister also said that he presented the first edition of the Oxford Kazakh dictionary prepared on the instructions of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the British.

"Language is one of the main values for our people. Introducing the Oxford Qazaq dictionary in Kazakh and English, we rise to a new historical milestone. Thanks to that, the world public will know a lot about the history of our culture and people. "We actively implement the development of the Kazakh language not only on paper, but also by digitizing the state language," said Sayasat Nurbek.
