Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov has banned salary increases for officials. The moratorium will last until 2026, "Adyrna" correspondent reports. The relevant document was published in the government newspaper "Erkin-Too". According to the head of state, this decision was made in order to optimize state budget expenditures. In particular, the salaries of employees of state departments, committees, authorized representative offices of the president in the regions, as well as local government bodies cannot be increased. In addition, it is not allowed to increase the number of state bodies. It is worth noting that the document states that changes in the salary of civil servants, as well as the staff structure, can be made by the president's personal decision in special cases.
