In Kazakhstan, the price of cheese increased by 31.4 percent in one year

The National Bureau of Statistics announced that the average price of hard cheese in October was 4378 tenge per kg. Compared to October last year, the price of this product has increased by 31.4 percent. This was reported by the "Adyrna" national portal.
According to statisticians, the most expensive cheese was registered in Karaganda, where the average price of cheese is 5356 tenge per kg.

The average price of cheese in Astana is 4880 tenge, in Almaty the average price is 4700 tenge, in Taraz it is 4782 tenge.

The lowest price was recorded in the city of Konaev, where a kilo of cheese costs 3153 tenge on average.

In the period from January to August 2022, 24,409.9 tons of cheese and cottage cheese were produced in Kazakhstan, which is 8.3% less than in the same period last year.

Kazakh cottage cheese was exported to CIS countries (Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan), as well as to Korea and Mongolia.

Imports of these goods to us come from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Latvia, and Iran.
