Its scope should be expanded and cities and villages of district importance should be involved in the project. The community should determine where at least 10 percent of the housing and communal services funds will be spent. It was said that in order to effectively implement these issues, it is necessary to adopt a new Budget Code.
Today, the main attention is paid to this project in Almaly district of Almaty. The joy is in those residents competing and giving their suggestions. For example, this year, the residents of Almaly received applications for improvement of 42 yards. The vast majority of addresses on the list have not been renovated for several years. In recent years, the local administration has begun to pay attention to old residential yards. As a result, playgrounds and squares were installed, and light poles appeared.
This is a residential area located on Shagabuddin and Tchaikovsky streets. This year, construction was going on intensively in the address belonging to Almaly district. Sports equipment was installed, and the fields were covered with rubber. Yards where children play are surrounded by fences. However, all this is the planned work of the local administration for the year. Apart from that, work was done in the district within the framework of the "Budget with People's Participation" program.
"This year, out of 42 yards, 5 yards were selected and underwent complex work. Also, through the "People's participation in the budget" program, 21 yards are being worked on, and residents are expressing their gratitude," said Ruslan Aitanov, head of the Almaly district utility department.
In this way, the surroundings were transformed, and the beauty of the vacant lands was restored. Children and elderly pensioners are overjoyed. Representatives of the local administration listen to the demands of the residents before starting the project. Accordingly, the seats and the children's playground are set according to the taste of the crowd.
"We have been living on Tchaikovsky Street for 48 years. Since then, there was only a playground in our yard. Now, when he goes out to the field, he has created conditions so that he can relax," said Kenzhetay Barakbaeva, a resident of Almaly district.
"It is pleasing that the yard beautification works were carried out in consultation with the residents. We all come out as neighbors and talk about what we need to have a relaxing walk. The district akimat works according to the plan," said Elena Vavulidi, a resident of Almaly district.
Those responsible said that such works will continue next year. This year, 42 projects were submitted by residents, and five of them were completed. The remaining 37 projects are planned for the coming year.
