President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said at a meeting with the public of Almaty on November 16 that accurate forecasting and early warning of earthquakes is very important for the city, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
Tokayev ordered to complete the installation of 28 seismic stations by 2025, and then integrate them with the early warning system of Kyrgyzstan.
"Integrated warning systems with the ability to send emergency voice messages should be launched in the city. Big data is used in this work," said Kassym-Jomart Tokaev.
For this, it is necessary to fully activate the activity of the ex.com. situation center. It should integrate data from video surveillance systems, traffic, call activity and social infrastructure, the President added.
"The idea of creating a "digital twin" of the city corresponds to modern trends in the field of information technologies and advanced international practice," the President said.

"In Almaty, this order is being implemented within the framework of the development of the "digital twin" and the amendment of the Master Plan of the city. This is a good example of a systematic approach in which projects are implemented in connection with each other.
