The head of state received the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, who came to Kazakhstan on an official visit, the national portal "Adyrna" reported with reference to Akorda.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev expressed confidence that Petr Fiala's first official visit to our country will contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations.
- You brought a big business delegation to our country. Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev said that the business forum would be very beneficial for the promotion of business relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The head of state sent his congratulations to Peter Pavel, who was elected to the position of the President of the Czech Republic.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the prospects of strengthening trade-economic and investment cooperation, including in the field of transport and logistics. The President said that he is ready to provide comprehensive support to Czech investors.
- We welcome investment from the Czech Republic in various sectors of the economy, such as energy, engineering, transport, agriculture, finance, medical industry and pharmaceuticals. We also believe that we will open direct air traffic between the capitals of our countries, said the Head of State.
In turn, Petr Fiala confirmed that the Czech Republic intends to further develop cooperation with our country.
- The Czech Republic has long established friendly relations with Kazakhstan and we believe that we will continue it. I hope that this meeting will give new impetus to active relations. Kazakhstan is a very important partner for us. Cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic is considered one of the most important pillars of relations between the European Union and Central Asian countries, said the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic.
At the same time, topical issues on the international agenda were discussed at the meeting.
