Askhat Khasenov, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said that 90 million tons of oil will be produced in Kazakhstan in 2023, the national portal "Adyrna" reports with reference to the tengrinews.kz site.
"This year, although our initial plan was 90.5 million tons, there were unplanned stops. We hope to produce 90 million tons today," Khasenov said while answering journalists' questions at the Senate meeting.

In addition, the vice-minister announced how much oil Kazakhstan plans to produce in 2024.

"Next year, our plan will remain at the level of 90 million tons. According to tradition, about 73-75 million of this 90 million are exports. That is, we export about 17-18 million to the domestic market," the minister concluded.
