Armenia has announced its desire to become a member of the European Union, "Adyrna" correspondent reported.
This was reported by the head of the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The idea of joining the European Union is being actively discussed in Armenia," said the country's foreign minister, Ararat Mirzoyan.
The question of whether the Armenian authorities thought about joining the EU and NATO was answered.
"Armenian people have European aspirations, we are going through this process, we will see how it ends. No one can predict it, no one can be sure," said Mirzoyan.
