Uzbek President's Spokesman Sherzod Asadov has denied attacks on military facilities in the Termez region of Afghanistan, the national portal Adyrna reports.
Reports by some Telegram channels that a rocket attack on Uzbek forces in Termez province from Afghanistan are "completely untrue," said Sherzod Asadov, a spokesman for the Uzbek president.
"According to the Uzbek Defense Ministry and the Border Troops, there is no military activity on the Uzbek-Afghan border, and the situation is stable. We ask you not to succumb to provocations, "he said.
