Two-time chess champion Bibisara Asaubayeva successfully started the prestigious Grand Prix competition held in New Delhi. This was reported by Zakon.kz, the national portal "Adyrna" wrote.
In the first round of the competition, the Kazakh chess player beat the local athlete Rameshbaba Vaishali, scored 1 point and entered the list of Grand Prix leaders.

It should be noted that this competition started one day later than the planned schedule due to misunderstanding and mistake of the organizers. Due to this, two participants refused to participate in the tournament: Zhansaya Abdimalik (Kazakhstan) and Elizabeth Petz (Germany).

Instead of 12 chess players scheduled for this hour, 10 girls are participating in the tournament in New Delhi. The organizers of the event urgently changed the schedule of the 3rd stage of the Grand Prix. Bibisara Assaubaeva started the fight from the second round and defeated the host. She will play Georgian Nino Batiashvili on March 28.
