A man robbed an 87-year-old pensioner in the city of Stepnogorsk, Akmola region, the correspondent of "Adyrna" reported.
A local resident born in 1956 applied to the police department. He said that on August 21 of this year, at 18.00 in the evening, an unknown man entered the house of his 87-year-old mother, who lives alone, and openly stole 500,000 tenge.
According to the old man's testimony, the intruder introduced himself as an employee of a service company.
"The pensioner, who trusted the man, took out all his things in front of the suspect, as a result, the criminal snatched the old man's money and ran away. Stepnogorsk police identified the suspect during the search. He turned out to be a 35-year-old resident of a nearby village, who was previously held criminally responsible for theft," explained the police department.
Based on this fact, the police department started a pre-trial investigation on "robbery", part 1 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
