US President Joe Biden paid an unscheduled visit to Kyiv. This was announced by the Ukrainian agency UNIAN, the national portal "Adyrna" reported.
Footage of the head of the White House with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Mykhailo Square in Kyiv appeared online.
It should be noted that this is Biden's first visit to Kyiv since the beginning of the conflict on February 24.
The American president visited Kyiv on February 20-22 as part of his visit to Poland. White House national security spokesman John Kirby told that during his visit to Poland, Biden would make a personal appeal to Russians and President Vladimir Putin.
