Nur-Sultan court has issued an arrest warrant for Kairat Satybaldiyevich, Adyrna website reports.
"On March 15, 2022, the specialized inter-district investigative court of Nur-Sultan arrested the suspect K. Satybaldiyevich was remanded in custody for 2 months, ”the court said.
It was noted that other details of the pre-trial investigation were not subject to disclosure in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Earlier it was reported that the Anti-Corruption Service is investigating a criminal case on embezzlement of large amounts of official powers and embezzlement of funds of Kazakhtelecom JSC. On suspicion of committing these crimes, Kairat Satybaldievich was detained and placed in a temporary detention center.
Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Service Olzhas Bektenov confirmed that Kairat Satybaldievich was detained at the Almaty airport and tried to fly to Dubai.
